She was predeceased by: her parents, Zebulon Harris and Georgia Randolf Harris; and her husband Claude Edgar Rice. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Rice (Bonnie), Rick Rice (Penny), Linda Fulk (Dennis), Wanda Miller and Yuvonda Breeden. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
