It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ashby Stringbean Monroe Jackson Sr. of Elkton, Virginia, born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Ashby and Ardell Scott Jackson; his wife Olivia Elizabeth Jackson; and his son Paul "Fu" Diijon Jackson. He is survived by: his children, Ashby Bo Jackson, Jr. (Yvonne), Dionne Mallette (James) and Anitra Jackson (family: Darlene Poindexter). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and his loving companion and family.
