With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alva Paul Smith of Elkton, Virginia, who passed away on February 8, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Connie Smith and Lottie Ellen Blose Smith; his wife Mabel Irene Meadows; and his siblings, Vernon, Elmer, Austin Smith, Anna Meadows and Frances Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary L. Smith (Dixie) of Elkton and Danny A. Smith (Kathy) of Elkton; his siblings, Jennings "Wilson" Smith of Elkton and Wilda Meadows of Elkton; his grandchildren, Michael Smith, Aaron Smith, Chad Smith and Amy Cardin; his great grandchildren, Zachary Cardin, Jordan Cardin, Lucas Cardin, Ava Lynn Smith and Aleeya Renee Smith; and his great great grandchild Brynlee Elizabeth Cardin.
