He is survived by: his spouse Kim Coleman Horton; his mother Betty Lou Largen of Pulaski; his sons, Matthew Hampton Horton (Chesley Hash) of Baywood, VA and Benjamin Michael Horton of Galax; his parents-in-law, Luella M. Coleman and Ronald Coleman (Brenda); his siblings-in-law, Sally C. Selden (Frank) and Ron Coleman (Roxy); and his nephews, Andrew Phillips, Jacob Selden, Nathaniel Selden, Owen Selden and Riddock Herrmann.
In lieu of flowers, Gary would want his friends and family to support their local high school sporting events in his honor.
