He is survived by: his sister Ruth Jordan of Fries, Virginia; his nieces, Freda Carrico of Fries, VA and Jeanne Beal of Fries, VA; his stepdaughter Terri Femister of Sparta, NC; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Hackler of Sparta, NC and Amber Hackler of Sparta, NC; and his close friends, Ann Reed and James Bare.
