He is survived by: his wife Linda Moxley Richardson; his sons, James Richardson of St. Petersburg and Greg Richardson of Elk Creek; his brother Kenneth Richardson of Elk Creek; his niece Nicole R. Waller of Elk Creek; and also Carolyn Richardson of Elk Creek.

Masonic rites were conducted by Independence Masonic Lodge, 129 A.F. & A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Independence Masonic Lodge, P.O. Box 338, Independence, VA 24348.
