She was predeceased by: her father James Cornelius "Neal"; her husband Raymond Argil Miller; her daughter Betty Jane Medina; her granddaughter Roxann Pyrtle; and her siblings, Trula Webb, Edith Cornett, Leota Kruse, Lena Wave Rhymer, Dolly Powers, French Roberts and Gerald Roberts.
She is survived by: her mother Ada Elizabeth Martin Roberts; her daughter Shirley Hale of Speedwell, VA; her grandsons, Anthony Smith of Winston-Salem, NC and Gregory Hale of Cripple Creek, VA; and her great grandchildren, Hanna Smith of Winston-Salem, NC and Garrett Hale of Chilhowee, VA..
