He is survived by: his wife Ellen Childress; his children, Sherrie Davis (Stacy Davis), Lonnie Childress, Jr., Kevin Childress and Keith Childress; his siblings, David Childress and Doraine Childress; and his grandchildren, Samantha Walter, Robert Walter, Jessica Childress, Kody Childress, Rebecca Childress and Emily Childress.
