He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethelbert Farmer and Mary Lucas Farmer; and his brother Roger Farmer. He is survived by: his wife Judy Smith Farmer; his daughter Robin Lampton of Narrows; his grandchildren, Chelsea Cole and Raven Settlage (Joshua); his great grandchildren, Layla Lewis, Adriel Lewis (Bubba), Harlow Cole, Isaac Settlage, Josie Settlage and Eden Jaimy Dawn Settlage; and his siblings, Barbara Mitchell (Paul) of Blacksburg, VA and Charlie Farmer (Kathy) of Ridgeway.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in his honor to the Eggleston First United Methodist Church.
