It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Lewis Golladay of Edinburg, Virginia, who passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alvin and Esther May Rush Golladay; and his siblings, Mammie, Sis, Nancy, Bucky, Johnny, Frankie, Donnie, Butch, Beth and Bo.
He is survived by: his children, Joy Golladay of Edinburg, Lewis Golladay (Connie Minkoff) of Bealeton, VA, Aaron Pattie (Donna) and Marlena Jarboe (Spencer); his grandchildren, Kayla Cornish, Jordan Golladay, Ryan Golladay, Justin Minkoff, Aaron Minkoff, Laura Flammer, Tyler Pattie, Madison Roberts, Tori Jarboe and Easton Jarboe; his great grandchildren, Leela Carter, Noelle Golladay and Naomi Golladay; and his former wife Charlotte Golladay.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Service (14116 S Middle Rd, Edinburg, VA 22824). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pleasant View Church of the Brethren (4197 Conicville Rd, Mt Jackson, VA 22842).
Mr. Golladay has given to St. Jude's since 1992, so to honor him, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
