He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Doolan and Frances Silger Doolan; his son Robert Harold Doolan; and his siblings, Ray Dee Doolan and Joanne Marie Doolan.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his sons, Timothy Allen Doolan and Randall Joseph Doolan; and his brother James William Doolan. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild.
