He was predeceased by: his parent Alton Thomas Stephens; his brothers, Samuel Thomas Stephens and Sheldon Carl Stephens; and his grandparents, Homer Cook, Rebecca Cook, Dabney Stephens and Maude Stephens.
He is survived by: his parent Geneva Catherine Cook Stephens; and his siblings, Catherine Stephens Looman (Rick) of Edinburg, Sherwood Lee Stephens (Becky) of Petersburg, WV, Charlene Mary Miller (Donald) of New Market, Celeste Muriel Crowder (Todd) and Simpson Maurice Stephens of Florida.
