It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Emily Davidson (Edinburg, Virginia), born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Archie Phillips, Sr. and Rosa Lee Phillips; her brothers, Leroy Phillips and John Archie Phillips, Jr.; and her daughter Amanda Davidson Rouse.
She is survived by: her husband Salon Alvin Davidson, Jr.; her children, Tanja Davidson of Clayton, NC, Sandra Fleming (Eric) of Mt. Jackson, Alvin Davidson III (Debra) of Greenville, NC and Aaron Davidson (Chandra) of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Heather Rouse Wentz (Matt), Erica Fleming, Winston Fleming (Rachel), Emilee Davidson, Abigail Davidson, Olivia Davidson, Bridgette Davidson Courtland (Turco) and Brooke Davidson; and her great grandchild Sarah Wentz.
