She is survived by: her husband Dan Wolverton; her children, Chuck Wolverton (Caroline Lewis Wolverton) of Washington, DC and Amy Brinkley (Todd Brinkley) of Chesapeake; her grandchildren, Joseph Zachary Wolverton, Walter Evan Wolverton, Matthew Daniel Wolverton, Christopher Brooks Brinkley, Josie Rebecca Brinkley, Jenna Marie Brinkley and Jessica Quinn Brinkley; and her mother-in-law Betty Wolverton of Edinburg.
