He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Richard Drake and Ethel Lillian Tritsch Drake; his former wife Linda Drake; and his granddaughter Hailey Drake. He is survived by: his wife Mary Layne Loy Drake; his son Wade Drake (Dawn) of Annapolis, MD.; and his siblings, Esther Steinhorst of Lusby, MD. and Harlan Robert Drake of Lusby, MD..
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Service (14116 S Middle Rd, Edinburg, VA 22824). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sunset View Memorial Gardens (2677 Fravel Rd, Woodstock, VA 22664).
