He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Davis and Betty L. Lodwick Davis; and his siblings, Louis, Jimmy Davis and Mary Gertrude King.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Sue Davis (Funkhouser); his children, Charles Davis (Tina), Raymond Davis (Wendy) and Candice Davis; his grandchildren, Derek Davis (Courtney), Andrew Davis (Leah), Dustin McKenzie (Carra), Taylor Davis (Brandi), Heather Stickley (Chad), Jordan Davis (Alexandra), David Dodson (Amber), Abigail Davis, Camden Davis, Phoenix Knight, Jamie Campbell, Vanessa Campbell and Austin Patton; and his brothers, Don Funkhouser and Eugene Davis (Nina). He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren.
