It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlyn Edward Ludwig of Edinburg, Virginia, born in Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on April 25, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Ludwig Sr. and Wilma Miller Ludwig; his daughter Lori Ann Ludwig; and his siblings, Joan Campbell, Linda Herald and Glenn Ludwig.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy F. Ludwig; his sons, Leslie L. Ludwig of Conicville, Wade Ludwig (Carla) of Conicville and Brian Ludwig of Conicville; his grandchildren, Lesley R. Ludwig (Sam), Savannah Ludwig (Mark), Justine Ludwig (Jared), Holly Ludwig (Stephen), Madison Ludwig (Miguel), Chad, Dylan and Cody Ludwig; and his siblings, Gerri Lippert, Wanda Rinker, Judy Tharp, Debrah Hodgson, Naomi Wine, Wilma Reynolds and Elwood Ludwig Jr..
