She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Hamilton and Effie Mumaw Hamilton; her husband Carroll Moomaw; her close friend Dural Bair; her daughters, Rose Moomaw and Joan Moomaw; her granddaughter Scarlett Seay; and her sister Frances (Hank).
She is survived by: her brothers, Aldine Hamilton and James Hamilton; her daughters, Crena Ryman (Otie) and Mona Seay (Kenny); her grandchildren, Serenity Mowery (Jason), Moriah Seay, Nathan Ryman (Marisa Moomaw) and Kenneth Seay III; her great grandchild Ashton Mowery; her stepdaughter Carol Ann; and her pet Ihop. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
