It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Cook of Edinburg, Virginia, born in Woodstock, Virginia, who passed away on April 30, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Cook and Clara Coffman Cook; and his brothers, Allen and Berlyn Cook. He is survived by: his children, Steve Cook (Leslie), Debbie Cook Baroch, Sondi Cook Brasfield (Ron) and Cindy Cook DeVantier (Kent); his close friend Joan Harrold; and his grandchildren, Keri Jones, Kelsi Shepherd, Steven Cook II, Rebekah Baroch, Matt Baroch, Josh Rhinehart, Jenny Smith and Jacob DeVantier. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
