It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Wakeman Dirting of Edinburg, Virginia, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Henry O.; her husband Paul William Dirting; her mother Lord; her son-in-law Lloyd W. Miller; and her sisters, Rebecca Cook, Viola Shirkey and Hazel Haycock.
She is survived by: her children, Linda D. Miller and Michael Dirting (June); her grandchildren, Amanda Feller (Wade), Brent Miller (Nancy), Nathaniel Dirting (Ashle) and Pamela Dodd (Gabe); and her great grandchildren, Tessa Feller, Paul Feller, Kenzie, Maggie, Luke, Andie Miller, Leigha, Landon, Lainey Dirting and Elias Dodd. She is also survived by two children, four grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
