He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Lee Eye and Lottie Walters Eye; his son Steven L. Eye; and his siblings, Charles Eye, Margaret Holler, Evelyn Hammond, Jean Horton and Linda Eye.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Dellinger Eye; his children, Jeffery A. Eye of Woodstock, John Christopher Eye (Shelly Cullers Eye) of Woodstock and Stacy E. Ritenour (Daniel) of Woodstock; his sister Jane Rosenberger of Strasburg; his grandchildren, Corey Eye (Hannah), Kathryn R. Bennett (Ryan), Madeline Ritenour, Benjamin Ritenour, Allison Eye, Nathan Eye, Caroline Eye and Lauren Eye; and his great grandchild Amelia Eye.
