He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Nilsen and Olive Reid Nilsen. He is survived by: his wife Anna Good Nilsen; his children, Rev. Kenn Nilsen (Dee), Rev. Timothy Nilsen (Lisa), Thomas Nilsen (Sandy), Kathy Deppe (Charles) and Kristine Crawford (Rob); his grandchildren, Sarah Taveras (Henry), Emily Hamilton (Greer), Christopher Nilsen (Alycia), Melissa Darroff (Stan), Joseph Nilsen (Ashlan), Kyle Deppe (Katie), Stephanie Crawford and Alex Crawford (Ally); and his great grandchildren, Mateo, Catalina, Jones, Lennox, Jack, Hudson and Max.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice or the Muhlenberg Lutheran Church's Memorial Fund.
