She is survived by: her husband Virgil Sturgeon; her children, Lonny Sturgeon (Amanda) of Greensboro, N. C. and Trina Sturgeon Corbin (Michael) of Staunton; her grandchildren, Robert B. Johnston Jr. of Cedar Key, Fla., Kyle Sturgeon of Charlottesville, Rose McLaughlin of Hardy, Megan Holder of Greensboro, N. C. and Lindsey Werner of Staunton Va; her great grandchildren, Bobby Johnston, Micaiah Johnston, Henry Johnston, Nina Johnston, Kayla Bennett, Emma Bennett, Ahleina McLaughlin, Werner McLaughlin, Ethan Holder, William Kellison, Garrett Holder and Benjamin Sturgeon; her great great grandchild Edward Johnston; and her siblings, Dorothy Sites of Hagerstown Maryland, Mildred Funkhouser of Strasburg Va, Jerry Polk of Orlando Fla and Richard Lam of Fort Valley Va.
