It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Rachel Barb Wilson Small of Edinburg, Virginia, who passed away on May 30, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lee Barb and Edith Rebecca Rosanna Barb; her husbands, Charley J. Wilson and Everett R. Small; her daughter Jean Ann Small; her siblings, Floretta Slama (Bill), William Barb (Vera) and Berlin Barb; her brothers-in-law, George Hollenweger and Charles Whitacre; her grandson Charley E. Wilson; and her half-siblings, Everyn Barb and Nellie Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Myers (Donald) of Interlachen, Michelle Lonas (Randy) of Mt. Jackson and Phillip Wilson (Elsie) of Middletown; her siblings, Dorcas Hollenweger of Broadway, Delma Ireland (George) of Prattville, Sudie Whitacre of Mt. Jackson, Edna Turner (Nelson) of Broadway and Linwood Barb (Gloria) of Edinburg; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Barb of Mt. Jackson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six step grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, twelve step great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
