It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garland Hope Funkhouser (Edinburg, Virginia), who passed away on November 8, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Tobias Aquinter Funkhouser; and his wife Jean Lena Sine Funkhouser. He is survived by: his parent Martha Coffman Funkhouser; his children, Garland Richard Funkhouser of Edinburg, Wayne Douglas Funkhouser (Judy) of Greensboro, NC, Larry David Funkhouser (Karen) of Mt. Jackson and Carol Jean Getz (Mark) of Edinburg; his sisters, Celia Spiker of Martinsburg, WV and Mary Moomaw of Maryland; and his grandchildren, Jean Getz, Renee Williams and Eric Hockman.
