He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hubert and Mary Elizabeth Combs Painter of Edinburg; his wife Mildred C. "Sally" Painter; his sisters, Geneva Catherine Cummins and Eleanor Oneida Cooley; and his great grandchild Brantley Gauge Kibler.
He is survived by: his sister Patsy Kay Richman; his nieces, Sharon Kay Painter of Edinburg and Cynthia Dawn Kibler (Robert) of Woodstock; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Suzanne Painter of Chantilly, Ashley Amanda Andrick of Woodstock, Dennis Lee Andrick, II (Michelle) of Woodstock, Ryan Douglas Painter (Courtney) of Woodstock and Brandon Scott Kibler (Morgan) of Woodstock.
