He was predeceased by: his father Edgar McLain Funkhouser; and his stepbrother Larry Richards. He is survived by: his mother Betty Maybelle Funkhouser of Edinburg; his wife Brenda Hansberger Funkhouser; his siblings, Karen Estep of Edinburg, Mike Funkhouser of Basye and Jeff Funkhouser of Woodstock; and his stepbrothers, Keith, Gary and Jimmy Richards.
