She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry John Norris, Sr. and Ellen Mae Whitling Norris; her husband Donnie Lewis McDonald, Sr.; her son Gregory J. McDonald, Sr.; and her siblings, Gerald Norris, Vern "Butch" Norris and Henry John Norris, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Reedy (James) of Appomattox, VA, Donnie L. McDonald, Jr. of Edinburg, VA, Denise Hamous (Steve) of Sierra Vista, AZ and James S. McDonald (Christina) of Edinburg, VA; her grandchildren, Michael Reedy, David Reedy, Cindi McDonald, Jonathan McDonald, Aaron Hamous, Gregory McDonald, Jr., Steven McDonald, Timmy McDonald and Riley McDonald; and her brother Dennis Norris (Shelva) of New Market, VA. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
