She is survived by: her child Shelly; her siblings, Richard, Tom, Sam, Karen, Ken, Mark, Wayne and Joyce; her children, Craig Bryan Smith, Michele Smith Fauver (Jeff) of Woodstock, VA and Brent Dean Smith (Amanda) of Hanover, PA; her foster son David Hunter Leight of Winchester, VA.; and her grandsons, Bryan Cutlip, Alex Cutlip, Cory Smith, Clayton Smith, Jared Fauver, Joshua Smith, Caleb Smith and Timothy Smith. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 17 nieces and nephews.
