She is survived by: her sons, Orville Smoot (Judy) of Edinburg, Virginia, Ron Smoot (Jackie) of Shenandoah, Virginia and Larry Smoot (Judith) of Maurertown, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Rebecca Smoot, Russell Smoot (Lindsey), Patrick Smoot (Kate) and Kaitlin Smoot; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Burner, Josh Reynolds, Everett Smoot, Wrenn Smoot, Paxton Smoot, Casen Smoot and Ivy Smoot; her sisters, Helen Hottle Will of Nokesville, Virginia and Maxine Hottle Wilt of Timberville; and her sisters-in-law, Julia Smoot Lutz of Winchester, Arlene Smoot Barb of Edinburg and Dorothy Showman Hottle of Timberville, Virginia..
A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Sunset View Memorial Gardens (2677 Fravel Rd, Woodstock, VA 22664). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church-Jerome (4109 Jerome Rd, Edinburg, VA 22824).
