He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Edward Ash and Brenda Lane; and his uncle Wayne. He is survived by: his siblings, Erica Lashae Quarles of Richmond, Virginia, Stephon Carolina of Richmond, LeVon Lane of Chester, William Smith (Dashauna) of Glouster and Dale Smith (Caitlin) of Tennessee; his aunts, Lutricia Butler (Charles) of Ebony and Daisy Mabry (Wayne) of Richmond, Virginia; his great-uncle Bishop Ernest Brown; and his great-aunt Mother Selena Brown.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Christian Antioch Church (811 Ebony Rd, Ebony, VA 23845). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at the Christian Antioch Church Cemetery (811 Ebony Rd, Ebony, VA 23845).
