We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2020, at the age of 94, Rose Marie Rippon of Eastville, Virginia, born in Chincoteague, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rose Marie Rippon to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas W. "Biddy" Rippon; her parents, John David Steelman and Mary Jeanette Carter Steelman; and her sisters, Patricia Steelman Mapp and Frances S. Clark.
She is survived by: her sons, John Lee Rippon (Susan) of Exmore, VA and Thomas Wilson Rippon, Jr. (Jennifer) of Nassawadox; and her grandchildren, Thomas Benson Rippon, Thomas Wilson Rippon III (Laurel) and Emily Rippon Weisskopf (John). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the current situation with the COVID- 19 virus, a private graveside service will be conducted at Cape Charles Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Charles Peterson officiating.
