It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack McCarthy of Eastville, Virginia, born in Bridgeton, New Jersey, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCarthy and Hazel McCarthy (NJ); his brother Robert McCarthy (NJ); and his sons, Lawrence McCarthy (NJ) and Joseph McCarthy (NJ).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy McCarthy (VA); his children, Elaine Spencer (VA), Patricia Ambrose (VA), John McCarthy III (PA) and Robert McCarthy (NJ); his sisters, Molly Ward (NJ) and Patricia Hall (DE); and his grandchildren, Wesley Spencer (VA), Kristin Young (VA), Sarah Rourke (NJ), John Rourke (NJ), John McCarthy, IV (VA), Amanda Bughman (PA), Rebecca McCarthy, Felicia McCarthy, Larry McCarthy, Ryan McCarthy (FL), Mary Melli (NJ), Jessika Manning (NJ) and Heather Gallagher (NJ). He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
