She was predeceased by: her parents, William Randolph Burruss and Bobbie Lee Birckhead Burruss. She is survived by: her husband Robin D. Nofziger; her children, Amy Becker (Glenn) of Palmyra, Ian Nofziger of Williamsburg and Derek-Eli Nofziger (Catie) of Charlottesville; her grandchildren, Hannah Nofziger, Seth Lail, Aidan Lail, Matt Becker and Brooke Becker; and her siblings, Craig Burruss (Margaret) and Melanie White (Paul).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ginger's name to the Albemarle County Rescue Squad.
