She is survived by: her husband James I Bernhardt of Earlysville; her children, Kathryn B. Wash (Dabney) of Richmond and Glenn R Bernhardt of Staunton; and her grandchildren, Jacob T. Wash and Kaitlyn A. Wash of Richmond.
