He was predeceased by: his father James Ray Shaffner; his former wife Vickie June Kerns; and his sister Deborah June Goodwin. He is survived by: his mother Patty Moxley Shaffner; his wife Rhonda Doering Shaffner; his children, Justin Ray Shaffner (Viktoryia), Jonas Uriah Shaffner (Jac), Yvonne Schoelkopf, Carmen Schoelkopf and Lisa Schoelkopf; his grandson Anton Kalesnikav; and his sister Amanda Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Jim's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
