She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Moses and Hazel Walters Moses; her daughter Janet Morris; her grandsons, Paul Morris and Brian McFarland; and her siblings, William Moses, Ronald Moses and Joan Houston.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Shifflett (Archie) of Stanardsville and Joyce Holloway (John) of Earlysville; her brother Bernard Moses; her grandchildren, Roy Morris, Yvonne Welborn, Ricky Morris and Shannon Morris; and her great grandchild Jared Holloway. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In additional to her family Mrs. Shifflett loved animals, memorial contributions may be made to the Albemarle County SPCA or Best Friends Animal Shelter.
