She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Jarrell and Ruth Jarrell; and her siblings, Delmar Jarrell, Shirley Marks and Cora Lee Breeden.

She is survived by: her husband Aubrey E. "Gene" Shiflett; her brother Carl Jarrell; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Jarrell, Bobby Marks, Vernon Shiflett, Jake Shiflett, Craig Shiflett and Donald Shiflett.
