He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Gene Schenck and Nancy Garrett Schenck; and his siblings, Patty Gonzalez and Doug Mallory. He is survived by: his grandson Austin; his close friend Tim; his friend Dave Parker; his wife Paula Shotwell Schenck; his children, Austin Zimmerman, Sr. (Jamie), Tyler Zimmerman (Kalie), Benton Schenck and Davey Leigh Schenck; his grandchildren, Abigail, Austin Jr., Ava and Duke Zimmerman; and his siblings, Bobby Schenck (Jenn), Angela Caravana (Mike) and Pam Mallory. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church (550 Buck Mountain Rd, Earlysville, VA 22936). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (550 Buck Mountain Rd, Earlysville, VA 22936).
