She was predeceased by: her former husband William Hussey Sr. of Earlysville, VA. She is survived by: her son William Hussey Jr.; her siblings, Carl 'Butch Shifflett of Earlysville, VA, Judy Phelan of Ruckersville, VA and Pauline Dorsey of Barboursville, VA.; and her niece Stacey Michelle Townsend (John Robert Townsend) of North Garden.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that any donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
