She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin G. Zickgraf and Majel Pressler Zickgraf; and her siblings, Lana Hinkle and Edwin A. Zickgraf. She is survived by: her husband Jack Arnold Hammond of Eagle Rock; her children, Dr. Tamra Stall (Tim) of Covington, Jack Arnold "Rusty" Hammond II (Teresa) of Covington and Ross Hammond (Lethia) of Eagle Rock; and her grandchildren, Erin Stall Freeman (Scott), Alan Stall (Morgan Leigh), Jack A. "Tripp" Hammond III (Kendra), Travis Hammond (Alexa), Sydnee Hammond Hanson (Daniel), Macrae Hammond Robertson (Steve), Ryan Hammond and Shaun Hammond. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Galatia Presbyterian Church (78 Gala Loop Rd, Eagle Rock, VA 24085). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
