She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. John I. McClurkin, Jr. and Mona Buercklin McClurkin. She is survived by: her husband Jon Edward Claunch; her sons, Eric Claunch (Wendy) of Eagle Rock and Chris Claunch (Carrie) of San Antonio, Texas; her granddaughters, Dr. Natalie Claunch (Patrick Miller), Valerie Claunch, Catherine Claunch and Caroline Claunch (Ben Mosley); and her brother John I. McClurkin, III (Jo Ann Carlton).
