Marie Knight Palmer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2024, at the age of 85, Marie Knight Palmer of Dyke, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Knight and Sylvia Knight; her husband James; her sister Merium; her brother-in-law Jim Jinks; and her niece Kristie Powell Shifflett.
She is survived by: her daughter Iva; her son-in-law Jeff Shifflett; her grandchildren, Lee Bare, Erin Marshall (Austin), Tyler Bare and Jenna Bare; her great grandchildren, Emelyn, Aiden, Easton, Isley and Adelyn; and her sister Charlotte Powell (Calvin). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nortonsville Church of God (1505 Simmons Gap Rd, Dyke, VA 22935). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
