With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lily Morris Batten of Dyke, Virginia, who passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Morris and Loney Lee Morris; her husband Herbert H. Batten; and her siblings, Bill, Sam, Lonnie, Carl "Richard", Raymond "Jay", Roy, Elbert Earl, Earl "Monkey", Helen, Ruth "Sis", Hazel, Jean and Lorene.
She is survived by: her son Charles Herbert Batten of Crozet; her grandchildren, Levy, Samantha "Sam", Florence "Flo", Victoria "Vickie", Charley and Amanda "Looty"; her friends, Jimmy and Betty Morris of Joyce Knight, J. T; and her nieces, Loney "Lulu" and Lorene "Jo". She is also survived by four great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
