He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Jackson Morris and Clemmie Anna Morris; his wife Edna Mae Morris; his son-in-law Douglas Irvin Brill; his siblings, Nelson J., Dudley, Hurley, Ray, James Morris, Gladys Nelson and Patsy Hall; and his grandchildren, Zachery Harrison Collier and Angelia Shifflett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Clara Anna Brill of Dyke and Elizabeth Marthis Shifflett (Monte) of Dyke; his nephew Larry Wayne Morris (Arlene) of Troy; his sister Christine Seay (Everett) of Maryland; and his grandchildren, Denise Shifflett (David), Lori Shifflett (Jeff Eppard), Brian Shifflett (Tracy), Aimee Bunch (Richard) and Lisa Collier (Glenn). He is also survived by father; eleven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
