He was predeceased by: his parents, David Ezra McCauley and Sarah Jane Shaver McCauley; his daughter Alice Cressel; his son-in-law Hobert Cressel; and his granddaughter Rylan Lay.
He is survived by: his wife Dolly McCauley; his children, George W. McCauley, Jr. (Donna), Marvin McCauley (Gloria), Lois Boston (Benjamin), John McCauley (Jeannette) and Nancy Frazier (Allen); and his sister Gracie Garrison. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 3 honorary grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
