She was predeceased by: her parent George Walton; her husbands, John Sparks and Russell Garrison, Sr.; and her children, Pete Garrison, Russell Garrison, Jr. and Doris Rupard.
She is survived by: her parent Rosie Shifflett; her grandchildren, Deena Gibson, Charles Gibson of Marshall, Donna Gilkey, Hubie Gilkey of Front Royal, Darlene King of Front Royal, Donald Rupard, Jr. of Front Royal, Patricia Garrison, Gary Garrison of Dyke and Mike Shamburg of Dale City; and her son-in-law Donald Rupard, Sr.. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren; two great great great grandchildren.
