He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Newhouse and Jeanne Newhouse. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Newhouse (Hill); his sons, Michael Paul, Charles David "Chuck" (Rachel) and Christopher Allen (Erin); his grandchildren, Benjamin and Lydia; his siblings, Danny Paul (Brenda), Diane Claire and Linda Sue; his daughter Jordan; and also, Theresa White (Timmy), Karen Townsend (Don), Debbie Smith (Tracey), Sharon Jenkins (David), Tim Longest, Molly, Bonnie Wandersee (Billy), April and Beth Heaton (Marty). He is also survived by grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
