With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Patrick Dorgan of Dutton, Virginia, who passed away on September 6, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Beez; his wife Joan; his children, Patrick, Katie and Colleen; his children-in-law, Meghan, Jim and Nate; and his grandchildren, Grace, Harrison, Connor, Addy, James Hoover, James Davies, Ryan and Colson. He was also cherished by brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends.

Box 40, Saluda, Virginia 23149, a 501 (c)(3) organization committed to repairing, improving, and supporting healthy family relationships, re-named in his honor upon his retirement in 2012 after 35 years of passionate public service.
