She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace E. Johnson Sr.; her former husband David Crittenden; her parents, Herbert Stake and Gladys Partridge Stake; and her siblings, Edward Stake, John Stake, Ronald Stake and Gail Stake.
She is survived by: her children, Gayle E. LaMar (Darrel) and Wallace E. "Butch" Johnson, Jr. (Faye); her grandchildren, Eric-Paul Bomgren, Jason E. Bomgren, Lynn Ann Sowers and Ryan Wainwright; her brother Richard Stake; and her stepchildren, Laura, Don, Dean and Lynn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Marks-Bristow Funeral Home (206 N Church Ln, Tappahannock, VA 22560). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
